Dr. Melissa Edelson, AP is a Florida state licensed acupuncture physician. She is board certified in acupuncture by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Dr. Edelson has a degree in Psychology from Florida Atlantic University, as well as a degree in Health Sciences. She later studied at Florida International University and was in pursuit of a Doctoral degree in forensic psychology when her interests turned to Eastern Medicine. She received a masters degree in Oriental Medicine from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental medicine. Her alma mater was recently honored as one of the most highly regarded schools for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States.

In her practice, she has managed to integrate the centuries old techniques of Eastern medicine with the latest advances in Western medicine. This union of both ancient and modern allows her to offer her patients a dimension of medical care that is not widely available.

Dr. Melissa Edelson is a leader in the innovative use of acupuncture combined with Western assisted reproductive technologies, such as IVF, to maximize conception rates. She is a member of RESOLVE, a national resource organization for those struggling with infertility.
